PETRA.NET

To build a Network linking the security research community with the public authority user community to promote the transfer of results from the security research domain to the operational environment and provide a conduit for obtaining user requirements.

Project Scope

PETRA.NET addressed this vision through three specific sub-objectives:

To provide a secure web-based interface (www.petranet.eu) through which verified end-users could access emerging research results from the Preparatory Action on the Enhancement of the European Industrial Potential in the Field of Security Research (PASR) programme

To provide networking opportunities for the public authority user community and the research community. This was achieved through the web site, contact via the help desk, and attendance at workshops

To analyse, disseminate and exchange information with the public authority user community This was achieved with a wide variety of documents, updates, notices for funding, conferences, workshops and project reports being circulated to members.
